By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services. If you use the Services on behalf of an entity, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity.

1. Scope

These Terms govern your use of Volsungar Vault and any related websites, support pages, purchase pages, or other Volsungar products and services that reference these Terms. Certain features may be subject to additional terms presented to you at the time of use.

2. Non-custodial; you control your keys

The App is a non-custodial wallet. Volsungar does not hold, custody, control, or have access to your private keys, recovery phrases, card secrets, or funds. You are solely responsible for securing your recovery data, devices, and any authentication you enable.

• You must securely store any recovery phrase, backup, or master seed you create or import.
• You must keep your devices and cards physically secure and protected from unauthorized access.
• If you lose access to your recovery data or signing device/card, you may permanently lose access to your funds.

3. Eligibility; lawful use

You agree to use the Services only in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. You are responsible for determining whether your use of any blockchain networks, digital assets, or related services is permitted in your jurisdiction.

4. Transactions are irreversible

Blockchain transactions are typically irreversible. Once broadcast and confirmed, transactions generally cannot be undone. You are responsible for verifying all details before signing or broadcasting, including recipient address, chain/network, token contract, amounts, and fees.

5. Network fees; network conditions

Network fees (“gas” / miner fees) and confirmation times are determined by network conditions and third-party validators/miners. Volsungar does not set or guarantee fee levels, confirmation time, uptime, or network availability.

6. Third-party services and content

The Services may integrate or link to third-party services (including dApps, WalletConnect, RPC endpoints, explorers, token lists, and price feeds). Volsungar does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, security, accuracy, or content. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.

7. No financial, investment, tax, or legal advice

The Services are provided for informational and technical purposes only. Nothing provided by Volsungar constitutes financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice. You are solely responsible for your decisions and should consult qualified professionals where appropriate.

8. Security; user responsibility

You acknowledge that no system is perfectly secure. Risks include, but are not limited to: malware, phishing, device compromise, SIM-swap, supply-chain risks, network attacks, and smart-contract vulnerabilities.

You agree to implement reasonable security measures, including device locks, secure backups, and cautious verification of signing requests.

9. Prohibited use

• Use the Services for unlawful purposes or to violate applicable laws and regulations.
• Facilitate fraud, scams, theft, or the distribution of malware.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Services, networks, or other users.

10. Availability; beta features; changes

The Services may change, be updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time. Some features may be experimental or “beta” and may be incomplete or unstable.

11. Intellectual property

The Services and associated content are owned by Volsungar or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services for personal or internal business purposes in accordance with these Terms.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and accuracy. We do not warrant uninterrupted operation, error-free performance, or that defects will be corrected.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Volsungar and its affiliates, officers, employees, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Services, any blockchain, or any third-party service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Volsungar’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for use of the Services in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Volsungar and its affiliates from and against claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party rights.

15. Privacy; public blockchains

Your use of the Services may be subject to our Privacy Policy (if published). Blockchains are public networks; transactions may be publicly visible and traceable.

16. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or where necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons.

17. Governing law; dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by applicable law in your jurisdiction unless otherwise required. Where permitted, disputes shall be resolved in competent courts and venues as determined by applicable law.
