Privacy Policy
Volsungar Vault is a non-custodial wallet. We do not operate user accounts and we do not run a backend that stores your wallet data. This policy explains what the app stores locally on your device, what we do not collect, and how third-party services may process data when you use network features.
1. What we store on your device
Wallet data (addresses, settings, cached balances) is stored locally on your device (for example, via local app storage). Private keys / recovery data are stored locally or on your Volsungar card depending on your setup. We do not receive or store your private keys on our servers.
2. What we do NOT collect
We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, contacts, precise location, or advertising identifiers. We do not sell personal data.
3. Network requests & third-party services
To function, the App connects to third-party services such as blockchain RPC endpoints, WalletConnect relays, block explorers, and price feeds. These services may receive technical data like IP address, device/network metadata, and the wallet addresses and transaction data you request or broadcast.
Volsungar does not control how these third parties use your data. Please review their privacy policies if you use those services.
4. Buy / on-ramp providers (if enabled)
If you use a “Buy crypto” feature, you will interact with a third-party payment/on-ramp provider. That provider may collect personal data for compliance (for example KYC/AML), payments, and fraud prevention. This data is collected by the provider under their own privacy policy.
5. Public blockchains
Blockchains are public networks. Wallet addresses and transactions may be publicly visible and traceable. This is not controlled by Volsungar.
6. Security
You are responsible for protecting your device, backups, and recovery data. Never share your recovery phrase, private keys, or card secrets. Transactions are typically irreversible.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
